Alexandria Davis is passionate about guiding people to better understand their relationship to money. She provides pro bono financial education workshops in the community and volunteers at nonprofits that provide financial empowerment workshops. At Symphony Financial Planning, she is instrumental in assisting financial planners and clients alike. Her responsibilities including working with clients to help them complete financial tasks, preparing for upcoming advisor-client meetings, and brainstorming with financial planners for solutions that can bring clients’ finances and life goals into harmony.
Alexandria got started in the financial services industry when she landed a job in banking. That soon led her to insurance and, ultimately, financial planning. She is eager to stay on top of trends in the profession that could better serve our clients and attends conferences and other educational events throughout the year. Alexandria is studying to take the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam in 2020 and is studying for her enrolled agent designation as well. When she’s not studying or attending conferences, she’s recording professional podcasts as a host for “You’re a Financial Planner, Now What?”
Alexandria can also be found volunteering for nonprofits to speak to young adults about the financial planning profession. She is the 2020 NexGen President for the Financial Planning Association (FPA), as well as the 2019 Director at Large for the FPA of Northern California. A Sacramento native and resident, she loves spending date nights with her husband at local coffee shops and trying new restaurants around town. During Christmas, you’ll find her making a bakery’s worth of cookies and cupcakes for family, friends, and (thankfully) co-workers.
