As our paraplanner, Fernanda Auwarter combines a multidisciplinary expertise with a commitment to improving clients’ lives. A former fact checker and researcher, Fernanda now applies her meticulous analytical skills to a variety of responsibilities, such as financial plan creation, cost basis research, and account valuation. She receives great satisfaction in knowing that her work is helping clients bring their finances and life goals into harmony.
Fernanda has an eye for detail that she has been honing for more than 15 years. She spent nearly 10 years as a research professional with universities and corporations, where she excelled in independent research, fact checking, and quality control. Most recently, she served as a paraplanner at Fagan Financial Planners, creating financial plans, servicing client accounts, and providing analytical support for attorneys and CPAs.
Born in Brazil, Fernanda makes her home in Davis with her husband and children. Fluent in English and Portuguese, she enjoys reading, with her favorite book being The Complete Stories by Clarice Lispector. She also enjoys traveling anywhere she can spend time with her extended family, including Brazil, Portugal, Italy, Israel, Germany, and Norway. Back in the States, you can often find her gardening, swimming, or dancing.
